Community Giving

Since 1954, raising funds and giving back to the community has been, and continues to be, the purpose and mission of Pepper Fest.

Grant Requests

Local groups and organizations may apply for a Pepper Fest Grant.

Grant applications submitted between September 1st, 2023 - September 30th, 2024 will be considered for a 2024 Pepper Fest Grant.

Grant applicants may be asked to make a brief presentation to the Pepper Fest Board at a date and time TBD following the 2024 Pepper Festival. This presentation allows the Pepper Fest Board to learn more about your group or organization and how the grant money would be used if awarded. While this presentation is recommended, it is not required.

Grants are distributed during the Pepper Fest Annual Meeting and Appreciation Dinner following the festival (typically held in October or November). Those receiving grants will be notified prior to the Annual Meeting.

Hudson High School Tennis

The money from Pepper Fest has allowed the Hudson Raider Tennis team to pay for team expenses that are not covered by the Hudson School District. From additional equipment to assist the team and players, to uniforms and travel expenses, we greatly appreciated your financial support...while we had a blast working during the world famous annual Pepper Festival!!! You guys, and the event are awesome!
— John Knutson, Hudson High School - Varsity Head Coach

KinniCroix Valley Girl Scouts

Because of the donation KinniCroix Valley Girl Scouts receives from Pepper Fest we are able to keep our camp affordable and provide grants to girls who could not otherwise afford to attend.
— Kirsten Dutton, KinniCroix Valley Girl Scouts

Hudson High School Marching Band

The funds that the Hudson Marching Band has received from Pepper Fest has helped transform our percussion section! With the generous support from Pepper Fest, we have been the beneficiaries of 3 new mallet instruments in the last year! Without them, this would not have been possible. We are extremely grateful that Pepper Fest is willing to share with the community!
— Peg Lundquist, Volunteer Hudson Marching Band Parent Group

Hudson Area Backpack Program

The Hudson Area Backpack Program is grateful to the Pepper Fest Committee for their financial assistance to our program. Your assistance helped us provide weekend food every weekend during the school year for financially struggling families with children.
— Jeanne Schmidt, Hudson Area Backpack Program

The Sharing Tree

Thanks to the North Hudson Pepper Fest committee, The Sharing Tree is able to purchase school supplies for Hudson and Somerset students. Thank you Pepper Fest for supporting our communities’ youth! We appreciate your support!
